Thread: 2 qs: ways to make money as a scout and how to price meat??
To make money -
Run missions, the highest paying ones you can complete without dying. Harvest anything and everything you see. Search all lairs, saving eggs, tossing creatures. Milk what can be milked before harvesting it. Sell what you harvest, even the crap, for whatever the market will bear - be it 2 cpu for crap up to 100 cpu for really good stuff.
Do not spend money on BS yet - that is - furniture, fancy clothes, useless crap. That can come later.
You want the best weapons you can use, sliced, and powerups for those weapons. Harvest and sell should be all you do until you can do higher missions.
Get a wind generator, or two. No artisan needed, just drop em where you can find them easily. Sell the power you make. If you want, get a harvestor, or two, mineral and chemical. You will need metal and poly later on, so get them now. Sell what you don't need.
Find a hunting group, go to a higher rated planet, do missions there. Better pay, better harvest, good XP, more fun.
