Try to buy crates of every kind of scout trap. For trapping I, II & III throw them on something low level like Kaadu. Once you train III go to Dant, buffed and in Ubese and you should be able to throw on quenkers. The quenkers won't be able to inflict any damage on you if you're buffed and wearing high kinetic resist armor so just sit there (with no weapon equipped) and trap them until you get trapping IV.

I have a question about the ThrowTrap macro. Now I know there is a /ThrowTrap command and it works but when the ThrowTrap icon is up in the combat screen, it will not throw, it gets to the trap then bypasses it, I was thinking I need to specify the trap type, even though I only have one in my inventory, any ideas?

If you press the throw trap button or type /throwtrap three times, you will throw three traps. Something goes wrong in the battle cue (spelling?) and it might show you waiting to throw more traps. You have to keep track of how many times you choose to throw the traps. Don't listen to the battle cue(sp?).

Go to tatooine or some planet with sort of hard creatures. I mastered trapping my throwing traps at mountain dewbacks, unbuffed, not wearing armor. I did not attack, just threw traps untill I was incapacitated I got up, then waited to heal, then repeated. I never died, because 10 minutes passed before my third set throwing traps (die 3 times in 10 minutes and you die).
