totally new and sry if it's been covered but I've breezed through the scouting forums and haven't found the topic...

I was wondering if quality, toughness, ect,ect, of harvested goods is a random thing or is it set... I'm looking to hunt up "the good stuff" but can't seem to find the rating I need for a bro to use in crafting his stuff... I.E. the bigger the better??? like rancor hunting would yeild X result and butterflies yield Y... thanks for any help here...

All of those stats shift - they aren't always the same. The shift at the same time that regular resources (metal, petrochem, etc.). So what's good one week isn't always good the next.

The only thing that size matters on is the amount that you get, not what.
