I started as a Scout. I added Marksmen and am now a Pistoleer. I also am working my way through the Medic field. With Medic I am focusing on Stimpack Construction, of which I am now at Organic 4, which is nice.

Iokale, which is a Tatooine Bristley hide, is the best Organic I have seen for making Med components. With that said, I had over 500 units of the hide when I started out. I have hunted all over Tatooine in my exploration. I never paid attention to what hide came from where.

Now, I am out of the Hide. I am hoping to find someone who knows which critters have the hide.

I have tried Krettles, Cupas, Rills, and most of the close range creatures by the big cities. I have never killed a Ronto, a K Dragon, or anything that requires a team to kill. That means, that I didn't get my supply from those creatures.

If you know then I would be grateful to hear it. I found 1000 units for sale on my server but the guy didn't remember where he got the stuff. He was selling close to Ancorhead, which I did hunt from for a while, if that helps to narrow down what it comes from.

Like all resources, hide and bone levels shift based on the same schedule that resources shift on planet. So what was great for medics before isn't that great now.

Check out swgcraft.com for their updated locations for good resources - I believe they've added a section on hide/bone/meat as well.

Anyway, the best way to figure out what's the best is to just kill a lot and harvest. See what has the best OQ, etc. and that'll be your best bet.
