Thread: Milk doesn't auto stack

I don't think I've seen it brought up before. I /bugged it last night. Minor complaint, milk doesn't auto stack like other resources. It just makes my inventory messy if I'm not paying attention.

Another minor one (broken since the big October publish and /bugged several times). Several of the hunting missions don't display correctly. Some never tell what type of animal you're supposed to be hunting (and don't display a picture). Others STILL tell you to kill two different numbers of creatures within the description (broken since beta). "Kill 45 xxxx"..."No less than 15, I tell ya"

It has been brought up before. And like a lot of resources, it has never autostacked.

No /bug necessary. Milk is like steel I guess, you have to manually stack it.

I'm surprised it's never been brought up before, but until you pointed it out, I didn't think to /bug it since manually stacking milk seemed like such a minor thing.

Not autostacking is true with eggs as well. You just have to go in every so often an manually stack when you're in the dairy farming mode. And watch it with those big milk producers like sharnaffs, pikets, and fambaas; sometimes they yield over 100 units and it shows up in your inventory as two stacks, one of 100 units and another of the remainder.

I've never had a problem with other resources, just milk. Well, it's been some time since I've collected eggs, so I don't remember about those. People really have trouble with steel?

also if you harvest more than 100 units of milk the milk over 100 starts a 2nd stack.

If you milk sharnaffs you can usually get 80-130 units of milk I have found after I milk them I get 2 stacks of milk a 100 stack and a 1-30 stack. really gets annoying to have to combine it all or I can't keep milking

I usually just drag them to a backpack. They autostack when you do that.

Just to expand on what Orryhazard wrote, any container in your inventory will do. Just make sure you have some space left, the stack you drag into will exist momentarily then combine with a stack oftheresource with the same ID string.

Milk and eggs will auto-stack if you drop them into your backpack. (Yes I know not in normal inventorybut I tend to move items to backpack for more space)

Milk and eggs will autostack if you move them, period. For example, go outside the house, find a bantha, milk it, go back into the house, drop the container, go back outside, milk another bantha, go back into the house, and then pick up the milk container you dropped earlier. That container will autostack with the one you just obtained.

It's only on the initial addition to the inventory that these things don't stack. Once you've got them, and move them around, they will combine with the same resource. They just don't autostack upon harvest like meat, hides, and bone do.

I don't mind no autostack. I'm like: "Oh no! I'm out of inventory space! Wait a minute, I have a bunch of milk I can stack! Merry Christmas and Happy birthday to me! I have a bunch of space now!"

Just like a tax refund! It's realyl cool, even though it was yours to begin with.
