Thread: raising my prices
4cpu?
I sell Endor wool at 10cpu all day. 20cpu is standard for milk.
4cpu... uh.... maybe wind energy, no thats 1cpu and that's easy to get.
Grindable is 5cpu, in 1k stacks.
However, that's on my server... what is the going price for clothes on your server? How about a decent, non sliced Republic Blaster? What does a complete set of buffs cost? Those things will let me compare cross-server and I can tell ya if you are low or not.
figure this tho, time it takes to harvest * what planet it comes from (endor is harder than corellia) * how good the resource is + how rare it is = final price

You musta missed the mass exodus from scout last publish. No camps for pets/droids/vehicles means about 75% of the dabblers dropped scout for other stuff. Bye, don't let the door hit ya where the Maker split ya.
Means we can, and should, raise our prices. Anyone see a glut on the market of organics on their servers?

Interesting how the organic market changes from server to server.
On Corbantis the worst grinding crap goes for 5 cpu.Carnivore, wild and insect meat is 10-40 cpu. High-quality avian goes for up to 150 cpu, herbivore for up to 50+ cpu.
Milk is 35-50 cpu.
Bone and hide can hit 100 cpu with top stats, particularly wolly hide, and avian bone can get 50 or so sometimes.
I sell all I can get at these prices. Millions per week sometimes.
I hunt, and I buy and resell, and it all goes as soon as I get it.
What factors on your server do you think are keeping things so low?

On Shadowfire, buffs cost 10k-12k usually. Swoops vary, but usually are around 15k - give or take 3k. I bought a LLC for 13k and a scatter pistol for 12k. How much do you think good quality meats could sell for here (like avian and carnivore)?
Well good avian meat will always cost more to sell because there isn't really a large critter that drops it other than the peko peko albatross, and that is only on naboo and one tough mother if you are solo. I think on Intrepid there is/was a spawn on yavin of meat that had a ton of 900 stats and the people on the trade forum were offering 50-100cru for it because it was so good and it is so hard to harvest in large amounts. The best way to check your prices is one look at your trade forum, the next is to check out the price on the bazzar and the final one is actually talk to some of the crafters to see what their pricing guide might be. Use all this and kind of base you price accordingly....NOTE...the crafters will probably low ball you a bit unless they really want it. I usually take the average between what is selling on the bazzar and what the crafters want. Also remember if you are selling your price isn't too high. This has taken me like 8 months to get to this point, it is a lot of trial and error and just getting the feel of being a business person as well as a hunter.
As a master Chef ill tell you that on Bria I sometimes buy meat for 10cpu and up for even medium quality as long as I get quantity.
Chefs and BE's will pay tons for meat and hides. You guys should charge tons more than u do now.

wow what sever are you guys on. There is certain meats im getting 80 cpu for and for milk i always get 75 cpu no matter what the stats. Atleast on my sever i found a chef and just hunt for them they should be paying you super good but you have to give them super good meats and hides. The meat im getting 80 cpu for is over 900 in all the stats but one. So all i can say is look for the best stuff and then charge the best price. It might take you a little while hunting to find the best stuff but once you do you will be rolling in credits, hehe.
