Thread: Why aren't my resources selling? What animals produce high quality meat, bone, hide?
Look at these4 factors -
1) Quality. BEs look for OQ, PE, and FL primarily. Docs look for OQ, and PE (and DR in avian meat). Chefs generally look for OQ, PE, FL, and DR. I have no idea what armorsmiths look for in hide, but if your serious, you should find out. Lower quality stuff will sell, but not at any sort ofpremium. Also, quality changes over time. So Tatooine may be bad on your server now, but next week you might see great herbivore meat. www.swgcraft.com is a good site (great for some servers, not so great for others) for tracking current resource quality.
2) Stack size. People aren't real likely to buy small stacks. Generally stacks of 100 or more will sell though. Really large stacks can get a nice premium since they can produce a full factory run. Unfortunately, really large stacks can't be sold on the bazaar. Regardless, it is often a good strategy to hold onto any current shift resources (letting the stack build) and only sell it after a new resource shifts in to replace it.
3) Cost. The bestanimal resourceshave been known to go for 100 cpu and more. Most go for far less. If you want to almost guarantee a sale, sell for 3 to 5 cpu. A stack of 100 units low-quality meat will sell on the bazaar for 300 credits (though it might take a few days). It probably won't sell for 800 credits (though you never know). If your only sell through the bazaar, it is sometimes better to price low to generate a quick sale.

Armorsmiths look for OQ/SR.
They're also interested in mallebility
Most aspiring docs/medics grind in the coronet or theed medical center. Put the highest quality meat you can find easily and in large quantitiesin the bazaar's close by there1k stacks usually sells. Most docs/medic they make stims while they grind away on tumblers.
Also if you have access to a factory, make a runs of small and multi-person camps using up bone/hide. Most people will buy a factory crate of camps to have in an emergency. These probably sell best on Dant/endor in the most frequently flown in starport.
There are 5 requirements for Armor: OQ SR UT Mall and DR, normally in that order of importance to the Armorsmith in question. OQ is always 50% of the equation, with one of the others adding the other 50%. Good resources will have a combined number of 1700 or above, i.e. OQ + SR = 1700+
Some named resources are required, such as Yavinian Wooly hide (Mamiens have this) for advanced Padded segments and Dantooine bone for advanced Chitin, and good money can be made when these resources spawn with good stats...
SWGCraft is an excellent website for finding out who uses what so you can tailor your hunting trips towards a specific resource goal...
