Thread: Hide/Meat Harvesting Bug???

I have hunted with a player named "meatwad" who whenever anyone was within range of him all /harvest meat commands would fail.. we would have to use the radial menu.. really annoying and indicative of a SEVERE parsing problem.. since if I have targeted an item and issue a command that works on THAT item it should not try to change my focus...

These used to work just fine. Any info would be marvelous.
edit: just using /harvest does work, but I certainly don't want unfocused harvesting.

This is still happening. 
I hunt solo and with various pairs of pets, usually Donk and Slinky or a Terrortula and Freak. Character name is Goki Buri, but has been that since day one and this problem is fairly recent, no longer than month or two max.

k...is this board just terribly slow or this not happening to anyone else???
It is seriously hampering playing my scout character.

This board isn't terribly, fast, but I have to say that I haven't met this problem. I put in macros for all of the harvest commands, and they've worked fine all week.

I have never heard of this problem - I'm not sure what is causing it, and I know it's not widespread.

I certainly seems to be a parsing issue, in that it only happens around 'some' houses...mine for example... I am guessing the guy who stuck his house next to my two also has some hide boots in it... I deleted the old ones I had in my place, but still getting the problem. My second house has some meat in a few bags too, so that's like it.
Very annoying not to be able to harvest outside my house

This happened to me as well the other night. I was using my standard \harvest hide;\loot macro when I started getting the message "you can't harvest from hideout" (or something like that). I looked around and, sure enough, I was standing next to a house named "hideout." Oh well, the radial menu options still worked though.

Zan, try these steps.
1. try typing /harvest meat in you command line, and see if it works.
2. Then try remaking your macros for harvesting. Not just change them, but delete them and remake them.
If your command line doesn't work, you might have a further bug type issue with your character, and need to open a ticket for it.
