Is there an automatic check for marskscent? Or do you have to manually press a key each time? Or do you turn it on once and leave it on?

How does this work?

I thought about recording a macro for it and have it running continuously or whatever.... but if it's automatic thing there's prolly no need for a macro.

You have to mask your scent using either the command /maskscent or a hotkey. This makes it so your scent is masked and then the game automatically checks as you are coming in range and going out of range of creatures. You will get messages telling you if your maskscent worked on each creature and if the creature is aggresive and your maskedscent fools them, you get exp. You also get a message for when the maskscent wears off. Hope this helps some.

You hit your /maskscent hotkey once. It then stays on until:

a) it wears off naturally. This is at least ten minutes, possibly more. I never timed it.

OR

b) it fails the check against a creature nearby, i.e., the creature successfully detects you. This shuts it off and you have to activate it again.

The higher your Camouflage skillmod is, the more likely it is to succeed and stay up around creatures.

When you maskscent there will be an icon next to your name so you know when it is active.
