Sounds like it should, at least.

You know I'm all for the extremly convuluted con vs skill system we have in place, but at what point does exploration iII make you some how so inherently tougher that you get 1/10th the xp you got the level below that? It's not even a combat skill.

I know Just doesn't seem right to take THAT much exp from me. Does anyone know the answer to my question though? If i drop my exploration 3 back down to 2 can will i get the same 106 exp i got before instead of the measly 13 i get now?

Not even playing this character until I get somewhat of an answer.

It's all about challenge. Kreetles are too easy for you.

You now have more skill in camo, so you need to find harder creatures. Try diseased bocatts -- they'll give you 91 per, and about 59 exp per /harvest. You will find you will also be more successful against white and yellow con agro critters now, and they drop 130+ and 200+ exp per success, respectively.

By the way, I wouldn't untrain something with scouting skill unless you're REALLY sure you get the experience back. I know you get the skill pts back, but I was under the impression you lose the experience, which means you would NOT be able to train in Hunting 3... you'd have to start over again. Can someone confirm?

Yes, you are right. When you sell back the skill points, you do not get back the experience that you used to earn them. You have to start the experience all over.

I know that I don't get my 10k exp back when I Drop a skill. My question was if I drop the skill can I use the 106 per kreetle exp to top off my hunting tree fast. That way I can lessen the grind of atleast the hunting tree atleast and then work on my exploration with the new EXP. I didn't know i woul get better exp from the bobcats. I'll just go do them then to raise exp for hunting and worry about exploration 4 later.

I just went from Exploration 2 to 3 and when I was a level lower I got 106 exp a pop from kreetles (sp) on tatooine. Thinking that I would get more exp if my MS wsa higher i took exp 3 over hunting 3. I go back out to the same mobs and get like 13 exp a pop from them now, that drop off sucks.

So my question is... If I unlearn exploration 3 will i get the 106 MS exp again? I mean i can get like 10k exp in one hour with my old skill, now i get much less than that. SO i want to lose the skill to pump up my Hunting exp all the way then work on my exploration, will this work then?

1. Get Exploration III (don't try with Exp. II)

2. Travel toLok

3.Clone

4. Place all items in bank

5.Run around Lok naked

6. Get 200-400 exp per successful con.

(Max exp you can hold is 30k before you need to train.)

yup....explore III you can't get as much off of kreetles but its balanced by being able to successfully mask scent tougher mobs. Just like any other skill area in the game...once you advance, you have to move on to tougher stuff to net the same exp.

All that said, when at Explore II, maxing out hunting first is probably a good idea if you are on Tat so you can enjoy the kreetle fest. Then go to town with explore III on tougher mobs.
