Thread: Traps for hunaoids
In warfare traps have been used on enemies as well as animals since the beginning of the discovery of traps. Why not make them useful on (humanoidsas well as animals in SWG? It’s realistic and makes sense… you could put in a modifier for more or less effective on humanoids.
I have talked to a number of Scouts in game and they thought this was a good idea.
Another thought is to make this be more effective the higher level scout you are. And to have it very effective if you travel the bounty hunter trail. Also you could have skills in other catagories (including scouts) to make this less effective on Players in PvP ( being able to detect traps) Some NPC's could be less effective at having this used on them such as bounty hunters, smuglers. More cityfide ones could be more suseptable such as Thugs. There could also be traps that could be placed like mines
I am a scout on Scylla (Ranxerox) I to think traps should effect humanoids.
This actually upset me the first time I realized you couldn't,
I fell it would be fair to make some of the traps creature only
But I mean, come on man, it is one of the strongest points of the profession, I don't understand why you would even think to ommit such a thing from PVP. In esence I feel like I'm being jipped by being a scout in a faction.
Please, please, please........
All I want is to trap some little punk who thinks his brawler is going to beat me up....... =)~
