What would you guys think about doing one of the columns in the scout tree as a fishing column that would require X amount of fishing experience?

While I do enjoy fishing from time to time.. it is one of those things that is very much a "niche" market.. most people do not enjoy it and would treat it as a 'grind'..
Any tree in Scout should be something you can progress without having to "grind".. just go out hunting, trapping etc and gain exp as you go. This is one reason I am personally glad the "survival exp" is gone.. That line was no fun and either required craft grinding or sitting in a camp for long hours.. neither of which is fun.
I would support reinstating survival exp IF camps where made useful to a combat oriented group and did not disband during combat. I'd like to see a scout put up a camp near a lair and that would be the "base of operations" while the group is hunting at that lair. Different camps give greater benefits to the whole group during combat and between fights.

There is no 'fishing XP', per se, and with the current design model seeming to be 'simple to understand, difficult to master' I doubt we'll see the introduction of a new XP type. If it was introduced, you can bet its going to be 'challenging', as in big numbers.
Nice idea, in theory, but in practise, nah.
