Why do I get a message saying your in a no-build zone when I try to set up camp? Im not remotely near anything...buildings...factories...mounds...towns. Im not sure what area's are set for a no build zone can any one help me out?

i dont know if this is performing as advertised - but on some planets the no build zone radius is quite large - making it very dangerous to solo.

You need to be a minimum distance from any city. I think on most planets its 1000m but I've heard that it varies with each planet. Use your planetary map to get an idea of how far you are out of town. Place the cursor on the city and look at the bottom, it should give you a reading of how far away it is.

Other than that, I believe you are supposed to be on flat ground, but others have said differently. If worse comes to worse, just look for some generators or harvesters, you can usually camp pretty close to those.
