I em 4 2 44 in scout and a master riflemen. Im grinding up to ranger but i cant trap anything my level becuase my lvl is 56 from rifleman! this sucks.the only thing i can trap are 20 lvls below me andi only get 1 xp.anyone else having this Problem?

On one of my alts, yup. However, it's working in reverse. His CL is 16, he's 4/0/4/4 in Scout and can't trap anything that has too high of CL if his life depended on it. And if he tries to trap CL 5 creatures... 1 XP. There's got to be a better way

I started a brand new charactera week ago with the intention of go master ranger. I ran into the same issues with trapping but found a good work around thanks to some advice on the forums here.
Get yourselves DWEEZEL
It s a chef food with about 15 mins duration and typically +21 to your trapping skill.
My toon is currently level 14 and I can consistently trap level 50 critters at 4/3/3/3 Scout and 53K of the 70K needed for trapping 4.
I have not tested jsut how much higher than the lvl 50 critters I can go but it might be worth it for you flock-waver since you are level 56.

And make sure that you don't powerlevel your combat skills whilst neglecting trapping.
One other thing that helps. If you get in a group that doesn't mind you only chucking traps, you can get full xp for the critter as trapping xp by only using traps and not firing at it.
