Do trapping droids actually increase your trapping skill?I'm at level 57, my scout skills4/0/4/4and Icant gain any trapping xp. I've useddewezelbutmy trapping skill is stillway tolow toland traps on anthing near my level. I was wondering if i had a trapping droids wouldit increase my trapping skill so i could trap creatures nearer my level?
Any help would be very muchappreciated.

I'm in the same boat as you - CL60.
Tried dweezle and a 105 rated trapping droid - still no use, have all of Scout filled except the trapping line, and I cant get any traps to stick to 'green' mobs.

Ok, THIS is what I like to read when people are having problems with a skill line, people actually doing testing and reporting their results instead of just complaining. I'd 5 star everyone of you for being a credit to the profession and checking things out like this.

Not that this helps. But they did pre-curb. It definatly helped out my trapping. But post-curb my trap droid cant land a trap p-dart on a target 10 levels below me. I havent gone and made a new trap droid yet to test it out.

Thanks for all yourhelp guys, i guess i'll just have to wait till publish 18 forthe token respec.I don'tlike the idea of dropping my level to master trapping.

I brought this up over on the DE boards and it turns out that as far as trapping droids go, they have a CL of 18 and for purposes of what they can hit with traps that is used more so than the actual trapping mod.
