Hi,

I haven't been playing for about two weeks, and I got on the other day and saw these scout mission terminals. I picked up a trapping mission, and I've collected the number of hides that I need ( at least I think I have...) Now, how or where do I collect my reward?

Hmmm -

I could be way off base, but my understanding is that you don't actually need to collect the hides and bring them somewhere (I know it says it in the narrative, but I think that's just setting the mood). For me, I just need to kill 15/30/45 creatures. Each time I kill one of the specified creatures, a message pops up saying "you need to kill x more womp rats (or whatever) to complete your mission" - then when you kill the last one, it deposits the payment in your bank account.

And you get to keep the hides!

Yes -- It's not hide-based, it's creature-based. So if you get a mission for 45 womp rats, you have to kill 45 womp rats. But of course you get to harvest them, too....

Also, it's very persnickity about what you have to kill. If it's a womp rat mission, it's only "womp rats" that will count towards your mission. Not "lesser womp rats", or "mutant womp rats", or -- my favorite -- "Womprat city". Babies, however, DO count, as long as they're the right baby.

Yeah the mission was for corillian butterfly drones, and that message hasn't come up when I kill them... I'll double check and see if it is "corillian butterfly drones"...
