Thread: getting Scouting exp without requiring combat
Is there a way to do this?
I have a suggestion for this. How about setting up CheckPoints all over the worlds in the most remote places. You get scoutinging exp for finding and traveling to these spots and clicking on a flag or something of some type. Maybe put a time or distance requirment on it. Say you find a checkpoint in one spot.... you cant click that Checkpoint flag again for 24hours..or maybe the next checkpoint flag has to be at least 5000km from the last you found.
what do you think?
I like that idea
Wouldnt work too well when vehicles come in though ![]()
Luk,
Getting Scout XP without combat - that's kinda the point of Maskscent.
I've brought up the idea of something like this before, but my idea was more of a static "one-time-only" XP gain per visit to a special site.
I think this could be adapted so that the Recon missions that we do for cash now givea modest bit of Scouting XP. Maybe 50 XP per mission. Not enough for us to go nuts, but enough to make it as attractive as nightspidering.
Good Scout thinking. ![]()

I must be doing something wrong... I have never got any EXP from using MaskScent. I like the idea of recon missions giving scout exp but i think 50 exp is way to low...make more than that harvesting one corpse.
Luk,
Maskscent is bugged since the update.
And the idea of it being low is the point- you already get credits for doing the Recon missions. Adding yet another inventive kinda defeats the purpose. It should be a help, not a means to level.
