Thread: Another New Scout on Bloodfin
Hi Fellow Scouts,
I just started playing last night I have no clue where I logged out at, but after reading the great guide I am ready to rock tonight. One quick question, where should I start at to join the Imperial Faction and a good leveling area? Naboo? Thanks for any input you might have.

Wolf,
Good choice on the starting profession. ![]()
Theed on Naboo is a pretty good place to start. There's always a ton of imperials around, not to mention that there are lots of critters close by. If you need any training or help let me know. I won't be on at all this weekend, but will be back mondaynight. If you want to go on a little safari (rebel hunting or just hunting) send me a /tell.

Wolf,
Welcome to Scouting!
There is an Imperial Recruiter just outside the starport in Theed, Naboo.
The best way to get your faction up now is through delivery missions. Once you get to 200 points, join the Imperials and then start running destroy missions.

Welcome to the fold. Something to watch for is the plethora of folks that will do your destroy missions for you (has increased exponentially since the monthly 'storyline' began). If you can take destroy missions 'off the beaten path', then you stand a better chance at killing botht he NPC guards and the 'lair'.
I did a lot on Naboo (city to the far North, can't remember it's name) and only took destroy missions to the N and NE. Everyone else was running to the South so I was able to keep my destroy missions to myself.
Your other option is to group up with a pack of folks and all take 2 int he same directions and just poor through them together (used to be a quick way of gaining faction points, but might have been nerfed by now).
See you in the field...
Glad to have you with us.
Naboo and Talus are my personal favorites although i can't speak for the Imperial setting there as i have completely ignored the GCW thus far.
The only recommendation I can give you is to make sure you start making and using your Traps and Camps immediately. Traps because they are so much fun. Camps because they are so boring and if you start the good habits at the beginning then it won't be such a chore later on trying to pick up that xp.
Take that for what it's worth. Having read the guide i'm certain you were already aware of that. I'm sort of like that crazy Uncle that repeatedly rambles the same warnings over and over. ![]()

Wolf,
Being the loner scouttype myslef, I like Restuss on Rori. The recuruter is at the edge of town, mission are not far, and there are few other people to get in your way. If you like a more social scaen, then this is not the planet for you. Its not empty, but its not bustling either. Its a good place for the self sufficant scout/medic/dancer to have the run of the land.
