I'm a chef, and sometimes I need to run out and kill a few things to get a certain hide or meat really quickly.

Is there a massive difference between harvesting returns on Hunting II as opposed to Hunting IV?

Keep in mind I'm not exactly going out to Dantooine or Lok killing huge things... I'm not a creature handler with an army of pets

I'm just killing stuff on the easier planets (Corellia, Tatooine, Naboo) and harvesting. Most of the time I purchase hides/meat in bulk from friends who are Rangers.

However, if Hunting IV will yield me a significant difference in harvested goods as opposed to Harvesting II, then I wouldn't want to drop it

You won't notice a difference in the quality of the hides/meat/bone that you are harvesting, but you'll notice a big difference in the amount.

You'll be able to harvest more with a higher skill than a lower one. This may make a difference for you - I'd stick with it, personally.

Hmm, I'll go with a medium... I'll take Hunting down to 3 instead of 2 and see how I like that.

Thanks for the advice! It's hard trying to shuffle around points into the correct spots.
