I know that MaskScent is bugged but I am not sure how the exp for that is supposed to work (when it gets fixed)

Do/Will you get exp after you pass a aggro creature w/o breaking your maskscent? A non-aggro? Does Aggro matter? Does range matter?

I assume it's because of the bugging, but I have never received any exp for mask scent. or have I just not been doing that by the right type of creature.

What you'll do is you'll slap on maskscent.

Then you run near a red - generally within 64 meters (meaning he shows up as a dot on your 64m level radar screen).

If you successfully pass him without him attacking you or getting the "Despite your attempt at camo..." spam saying that maskscent broke, you'll get a "You have received <x> XP for..." spam.

The tougher the critter, the more XP you'll get.

Generally you can only get 1 hit worth of XP off of them. You can run out 150m or so and run back in and it'll give you more, but I don't recommend it - the more you do it, the more probability that he'll sniff you out and kick your butt.

I have used Maskscent and even crawled upto some red/aggro and I get no xp points.

It's bugged right now, but Maskscent does work. You just don't get XP.

A tip for when it is fixed, maskscent before you attack an aggro, you'll usually pick up some XP as you attack it.
