Thread: Fishing Planets
I've had success on Naboo and Dantooine.
I tried in one of the oasis' on Tatooine but I couldn't get one to hook on.

You can fish pretty much anywhere there is water.
Check the star rating to see if you're in a good spot.
I've even pulled fish outta that pee they call water on Lok.

That reference ishilarious Delta, but I know what you mean.... I caught a fish in a little "puddle" that developed onNaboo.
Oh yeah I forgot, I have had much success on Naboo.

I'm certain this is one of those "i should know that" things although in my defense i've yet to go fishing.

When you fish, the area you are fishing in is given a "star" rating, based on the amount of fishies in the area. 4 stars means your at the Ritz Carlton of fishing spots.
1 star is the Econolodge.

I'm pretty sure I fished inareas with a 5 star fish rating on Naboo... of course I could be seeing double from hours of play.

How do you find out what the star rating is for any particular fishing spot?

Trial and error - just gotta check the different spots. Cast and check it.

Yes, you can get up to 5 stars for fish.
I was fishing on Talus once, and I had 5 stars in fish, and 3 on vegetation. It was nice getting fish almost every cast, but it got stuck half the time on vegetation.
I have a crafter as a secondary player and I can make very nice fishing poles (80!) but no one seems to care. Check your poles for it's rating, because 100 is the best and 14 just doesn't cut it. Also, when fishing starts giving survival XP, expect pole prices to skyrocket.
