*grumble* wait until I get my hands on a diseased Nuna *grumble*

It's too late for you Delta. CHs are everywhere and everyone. They're like the Borg (I know, wrong universe). Why, I even saw a Medic sick a pet on something once, as well as an entertainer. HAHAHA. We ARE the master profession.

Just think of it his way. Behind every CH is a scout. So...we can't be all THAT bad.

Xy,

Don't remind me. I'm in my own little hell with this non-CHs can call pets crap.

You can't swing a dead gnort around Theed without hitting a pet. Oh well.

At least I haven't seen three Rancors in a while. Hell, I've not seen ANY rancors in a while. That makes me feel a bit better.

In the words of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog "I kid, I kid." I know most of you aren't that annoying. But the ones who are...boy.

Hehe, I'm enjoying our little rivalry. Lets not ruin it by playing "nice." Luckily for you (and for us all as far as I'm concerned) no one can call three Rancors anymore. I believe the max pet level is like 70, which I think means that we can't even have two Rancors out at once.

I'm not too worried about everyone owning pets. I just wish it was more tedious to own pets. You should HAVE to feed them constantly, or risk them turning on you. You shouldn't be able to carry a full arsenol around with you in your datapad. Instead, you should have to store them in some stationary repository.

Anyway, thats more for the CH boards. As for Delta's position, I whole heartedly agree that he should become the permanent correspondent for scouts. Or at least be promoted to Ranger correspondent. (which would be wierd because I'd be a non-ranger frequenting those boards, hehe).

SOE -

Listen and listen well...every once in a while, gamers are blessed with someone that listens and actually gives a Batha-Poo-Doo. We, as scouts, are blessed with Delta. Delta keeps us inline, and appreciates what our frustrations are. Without Delta...we are but Boy Scouts...with Delta...we can rule the universe as father....never mind...tangent...bottom line....Delta....U complete us!

U point us back to towards the skills points we should be spending...and away from the ones that we have wasted.

The Force is strong in this one...

Keep him...pay him...let him know that beyond us lurkers...he is MORE than WORTHY! He makes it more fun!

Oui, Ja, Da, Si, Jawohl, Hai, YES YES YES.

Delta has done a fantstic job and desrves all of the kudos rained on him in this post. This is however, a person equally deserving of praise who never gets mentioned.

The person I have in mind is the scouting dev(s) that Delta works with.

Delta, you said earlier that you serve at the descresion of the dev's. As soon as I get incapped again (I obviously get incapped at lot - grin), I'm going to send Holocron a message recognizing the developers that have worked with you and making the recommendation that he not change a winning team.

Likewise minded scouts should feel free to do the same.

If you decide not to run for a second term, I understand, Doing the job you are doing as scout correspondent requires a lot of effort and I am fully aware that:

All,

I am amazed that this thread is still going. Thanks so much for the compliments.

I've passed all of our thanks on to the Scout dev - even offered to buy him a beer if he ever makes it out to DC.

As for me staying on, I'll stay on for as long as they'll have me. I'm enjoying myself immensely being the Scoutfather.

Delta,

Why are you suprised? Everybody know thatthis is one of the best professions around with one of the mostinvolved correspondent around. Every timeI come to these boards, I always checkout theother professions out there and this seems to be the most productive. Nobody is flaming, everybody that posts has either an idea, question, or possible solution. I think that it comes from the example that you have set. Although I amsuprised that there hasen't been a major uprising with all the CH people coming over here and just shouting you down . You do a great job and deserve to know that.

kbear, that's because they spend too much time whining on their boards. i may have to drop creature handler because i can't stand them any longer. you should try to ask some of them ingame for some help with the ch profession. i get no responses whatsoever. by the way, does anyone here know how i can heal a pets wounds especially mind wounds? excuse me, i mean mind wounds, i know i can heal my pets health and action because i have in camp, but i cannot figure out how to heal the mind wounds. thanks if anyone can help.

I wonder if anyone would even want to go against Delta to be honest, the question is really: Does Delta want to do it again? I am sure it takes alot of time out of his day to do this, not to mention the headach from it all. Just remember Delta it's not a monkey making business. hehe

Cigam,

I enjoy doing this, so I'm willing to stay on as long as they'll have me. It doesn't take that long - and generally I have the time.

It makes work a little less boring during the summer recess.
