Delta,

I have been pretty patient up till now. But Q3P0 blantant catering to CH whims was the last straw in face of the neglect of the Ranger prof. "Gee, now that you have given us back our pet hams, could we have a Ranger skill or two as well?"

"Why sure! " says Q, "That sounds like a good idea!"

Most of the issues I brought are already on the Ranger boards and already in the Ranger Correspondent's letter. The problem is not the issues. The problem is the issues being ignored and Scout fixes being passed off as Ranger fixes. Scouts not to novice Ranger don't see this yet. But, oh they will.

It's fine with me that Scouts are getting faster camps. They will get to Master Scout/Novice Ranger that much faster. Then they will join us on the Ranger rant board. We need the numbers, obviously, because that is all that counts for getting the problems addressed. And that IS the problem...

Problem that I have with maskscent is the current situation wherenon aggromobs automatically detects you. Especially annoying with theone minute timer.

I get closer to aggro camps than non aggro when traveling simply because of this annoyance.

Heaven forbid you are prone hunting in a lair of tough aggro mobs, and a baby happens to spawn that's non aggro. Goodbye maskscent hello clone station.

GO DEVS!!!!

That list addresses everything I had thought about, and the mini-nerf's are completely understandable & will only make the game more interesting...very nice guys, very nice.

Chin,

They're up on Test Center now, I believe, and the Devs expect them to go live sometime in the next week or so.

Do camps currently repel critters as advertised? I'm not sure that they do. (Either that or I must've forgottenthe Raid, as kermit spiders tend to decide I'm lunch while in camp). If so, this might be an easy fix.

They don't repel creatures that I can see, but they do prevent hostile creatures that wander close (after you setup the camp) from aggro'ing you.

Injury,

That's being worked on.

Wayness,

Every change that is made to the Scout profession makes it easier for Rangers to get to Master. And every change that is made to the Scout profession makes more Rangers.

Keep in mind that you are right - there are significantly more CHs (**edit** them) and Scouts than there are Rangers. I know of all of the problems with Rangers - I am one. And I've tried to keep that in mind with my conversations with the Scout dev as well. I know that Mineras is working just as hard for Rangers as I am for Scouts, and our Dev happens to be the same guy. So relax - Q may be dealing with the babies over in the CH forum, but we've got our own guy and he's doing work for US.

This will be readily apparent shortly.

thanks Q, but I think babies should give half of their adult counterparts instead of 1/4, with the chance to attack thing while masked scent neutral critters shouldnt because they're just that. NEUTRAL. Only hostiles should do this methinks

"Teras Kasi are lethal, nearly impossible to knock down or unbalance. Facing an opponent armed with ranged weapons, high-level abilities enable him or her to evade blaster fire and close in quickly, bringing his or her enemy swiftly to the ground."
