Oh and Hakai, I'm not trying to be like anyone. I just assumed you would enjoy some art work done by 5th graders which are smarter than you.
The stack of resources you get in your inventory has the ammount of it you have in that stack. You dont need to do any work other than press Ctrl-I..and maybe scroll down to the resource. It says "68k Avian Meat" or whatever, how much easier do you need it to be?

Oh, the thread, right. I think that this little counter is a good idea, but I have to say I never really aim for a set number except when doing contracts, and when I do that I just harvest like crazy a few days, check the ammount, and sell any surplus at a discount. But I guess many people would find it useful.

Mostly i could see it as icing on the cake. Something to help out a player as they play.
Though if only some of us could be as Uber as VictorM and his awe inspiring knowledge of the scout profession.
