That trip back every two missions is necessary. If you could take 10 missions at a time you'd have so many credits that it would be just like the above poster said - you'd just inflate the economy. You might think it would make saving up for that chest piece go faster, since it only costs 3k, but if you can do 10 missions at once its price will jump to 30k. You'll just see higher numbers floating around.
Look at the depression and look at now. The market reflects the economy. Supply and demand. More money = higher prices. Also, with only doing two missions at a time, you're coming back into town more often. That means you're getting healed in the cantina and hospital more which means more tips for those people, and it means you might stop by the bazaar each time and drop some money there. It just keeps the money flowing more smoothly. Think about the big picture and not just your wallet

"I think 2 missions is good. If you have more than that then you would get money so fast you could have some of the best equipment as a newbie."
So what then? Spend the time running back and forth? Sorry but that is a bad way to regulate character progression. If that is in fact what they are doing. 2 missions at a time is just plain lame. Why have self-sufficient characters if you have to come back to town all the time. It would help if the NPCs in the field gave more missions as opposed to the standard "I don't have anything for you right now".

Yes, 2 missions at once is retarded. Yes, you can group up, but what if you are a bounty hunter as an example? They rarely work together. In a strict role-playing sense, they are loners.

I wish NPCs in the field would give more destroy missions. I appreciate the fact that artisans can get surveying missions and entertainers can get gigs, but as a scout combatant there's no reason for me to talk to NPCs in the wilderness. Just something basic like "I need you to kill off these kreetles that mess up my moisture farm" or "Those swoopers roughed up my clients, I need you to go take care of them permanently." This would add a lot more fun to the game and give me an incentive to stay out and explore some more.

You people are so freaking lazy, if you want more then 2 missions. Then group up with a bunch of people, if not, then too bad.
If a armorsmith was charging 30k for a suit of armor he had to work his butt off, and there was 30 people spamming they wanted that amrmor. What do you think he's going to do, yup, he is going to raise that price as with other armorsmiths seeing they can make more money.

I never saw anyone run for miles in any starwars movies. You know why? Becuase people have freakin' vehicles in the universe. On top of releasing the game without an essential component, they make you run back and forth all the time? It has nothing to do with lazy, and everything to do with BORING.
Besides, you should read my post. There are certain classes that can be designed to be loners. Just because this game is suppose to be social, doesn't mean I should be penalized if I don't want to group with other people. Running back and forth to town is a penalty. The XP gains for a group vs. individual is appropriate, the limitation for missions is not.

First off, I'm a loner and I do my missions myself. My creds, my scout xp.
And second, if one more person says they didnt do this, or that in the movies. Im going to scream.
1. Did they have thousands of people killing creatures in the wilds, No.
2. Where there alot of creature tamers, no. the only one I remember is that pig guy, who tamed Jabba's Rancor.
I can make a longer list, but Im lazy, and you should get the point.
This a game, not the movie.

Also, I take my missions out of bestine, by the shuttle port. I always take my missions to the south, and It takes me about 5 to 10 minutes to do my missions. That includes my running time.

noreenf - If I understand correctly, you sound like you accepted two broken missions and you can no longer take more missions? You do know you can abort missions...right? Open the waypoint and abort? Sorry if I misunderstood....

Movie, book, game, whatever. Are you trying to suggest that this is compelling gameplay? Just face it, the game sucks right now. The interface is great, the technology is there, but the lack of vehicles and content make the game mediocre at best. Scream all you want, it won't change the fact that they rushed this game out.
