Have you ever tried to camp??

It takes a very long time to find a place and when you do its usually in an area filled with reds so you either get killed getting there or getting back.

NOTE: I'm not saying there is Currently a problem just that a Foresee a problem as more and more house are built. the only problem we have now is the large non-build ares, and i'm not talking about thearea around cities. I would think it worse/better on some planets then others.

I can remember seeing the first player windmills that got set up around Coronet on Corellia. I still like a seeing a string of 4 or 5 along a ridge line and even harvesters aren't too bad. They game designer's art department really nailed it with these.

That said the kind of shanty town of harvestersand houses that's growing up just outside the no build zone of towns can really gnaw at the soul. I've seen areas that had 40 or 50 of these things packed into an area and gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, urban blight.

As for the houses I've seen so far. Honking ugly cubes. The art for these is sterile and uninspired. I'm on Corellia but I've travelled to Naboo and the only differences sems to be in the cosmetic fringes. It's all very utillitarian and not realy something I'm interested in after seeing it. Maybe I'll feel differently once I see a fully decorated one but for now, I'd suggest the developers check a game called Morrowind. That has some of the best architecture and interior design features I've ever seen in a game and, for that matter, in the real world as well.

Dont get me started on no build zones!!! THE BANE OF THE SCOUT/RANGER! I spent 10 minutes running around trying to set up a tent to take out my creature last night. Once you finally find the build zone there are so many factories, harvestors and houses you have to run another 5k m to set up a basic tent to pull out a pet. its freaking silly. I think tents should work within 500m of any city...

you can certainly campe around harvesters.. have not had a problem with it at all...

yes some buildings pose a problem, but hardly... move away and build campe..my galaxy'statooine I would call anyone insane who claimed camping was difficult once you step outside the city no-camp area... I mean I would really have to try to find an area in the wilderness to not setup camp... there are tons of buildings out there, but there is probably 1000-2000x that area available to camp in.

I find problems with no-build zones only when I'm near cities. And people congregate where there are resources to be plundered. The entire server population couldn't fill up a single planet with 100,000 lots. Much less everywhere else.

And the resources will change pretty often. The shanty-town is just a little more permanent than your camping spot.
