Ekh,

The issue with blasters bolts and attacking was a bug that was confirmed by GreenMarine, and it has been fixed on TC.

So now you'll get smacked just as hard as if you were throwing a trap.

So now we'll get attacked the moment we hit a critter with a blaster?

That'll sure make traps more useful if its true.

That will surely make the lower-level critters more dangerous. As it stands I could take down a Kaadu with a Laser Carbine just by staying prone and not worrying about getting counter attacked. I'll have to dust off those Phenacine(sp) traps now.

Even tho it'll make hunting a little harder...I like the change. The yellow and white targets will be more of a challenge now.

I'm not sure how much I like that. While the Devs might have intended for critters to attack you after the first shot, that is not how it has been at all since launch.

We have been playing with a (in theory) broken system, but it is a system that many Scouts and other players have assumed to be the way it was intended to work.

I really think that this is one of those things where it is beyond the point of fixing it as it has become routine and "the norm".

That said, I've taken all the changes to this game in stride and I'll do the same with this change.

Delta, are you saying that creatures will now attack after the first shot no matter what posture you are in?!

So now initiating attacks while prone will no longer allow us to get in a couple of shots before we are discovered?..

"Son, that bad man is (SOE), and he's **edit**ing your (Star Wars)."

Ki,

I haven't tested it myself - but that's what I'm saying. The fact that you could before was a bug - not intentional.

I don't agree with it myself, and I'll be bringing that to the attention of the Devs. Being prone should give you a bit more of a benefit than simply being able to aim better.
