Right now I'm working on the last box of Rifleman XP for "sniper". I just picked up Brawler and I think I'm going to try and do Swordsman as a means of keeping me from getting my ass beat so often.

Other things I'll be doing include continuing to help make the Tarkin Memorial Brigade the best and most respected Imperial PA on Bloodfin (notice I said nothing about size. ), and trying to unlock my force sensitive slot.

That, and of course, continuing the building of Daria and Brisc's Clothing Clearinghouse and Bait Shoppe.

I'll post screenshots of our current living room shortly.

I've been looking for that "How to become a master ranger" guide that you said you will write. Are you planning on publishing it or have I just been clueless and haven't noticed it?

I'm working on it as we speak.

The only problem that I'm having is that there are so many changes going on, it may be obsolete soon. Oh well, that gives me an excuse to revise it.

Congrats! I'm about halfway there, in fact, I was going to look you up tonight to see if you could teach me Frontier III, just qualified REALLY late last night.

How long would you say it took you to get from Master Scout to Master Ranger?

Well, here's the timeline.

Started playing late June 27.

Hit Master Scout on July 9. (11 full days.) - these were hardcore, 8 hour a day, including a few 16 hours (weekends, July 4th, and one sick day my boss doesn't need to know about. ) The hardcore playing is also tempered by the login problems, running all of the Emperor's Retreat missions, etc. I wasn't "powergaming" to get to Master - I was also exploring and learning things.

Started Ranger on July 10. Hit Trap Master on my birthday, July 12. Kept playing, generally around 6 hours a day, more on weekends (between 8-18 hours).

Reached Master Ranger on August 22. This was also tempered by a significant amount of work on our Player Association and the wedding. I spent multiple hours (days) fundraising on Endor, then Dathomir and then Lok where I was only getting cash and not any scouting XP (except Frontiering). I also was doing a significant amount of factioning and running hunts for our younger members.

So just because it took me another 43 days to hit Master Ranger doesn't mean that it can't be done sooner.

And for the record - yes I have a life. No, I'm not so ugly that I can't get dates. No, I'm not such a loser that this game is my entire life. Yes, I am single, but that didn't happen until August 20 (2 days before I hit Master Ranger). No, we didn't break up over SWG. I just like playing a lot.

Well, I'm patient. With the exception of CampingXP, I'm content to just play the game and let the XP accumulate as it will. It wouldn't be an accomplisment if it was easy and quick to get to "Master" anything.

As for the game vs. RL - Me thinks the Scout Correspondant doth protest too much...

I'm about to hit master scout, just need my ap points. Not quite as fast as you, but it has been a great adventure. I'll be looking you up for my ranger training.
