I'd like to get a copy of whatever it was that JB said as well.

I can't say that I'm surprised that this happened, as the Devs have had a zero strikes and you're out policy when it comes to a Correspondents speaking their minds.

It's upsetting that he also lost Blue Glowie status. Even when I was forced out I was at least given that.

JB did yeoman's work in the time that he was here.

I do hope that Sio, Hakai, Phenix or any of our friends from the Ranger forums take the opportunity to represent us out there. You all would make excellent Correspondents, and represent us well.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

As far as I'm aware, my indescretions on the Bloodfin boards have made me "inelligible for the program".

But I may be wrong.

Honestly, though, I've been promoted at work, so I'm now the Director of Government Affairs - when I was just doing political stuff I actually had free time. But now I don't - I've barely got time to log in every night anymore.

You guys deserve your shot.

I was real suprised when JB was made Scout Corr but thought it was a great idea.

I was not suprised to hear that he was removed from the postition but thought it was a bad idea.

But what do I know? I'm just a paying subscriber.

Ack! The day I return from my hiatus this is the first thread I see! Well, knowning my luck it isn't surprising.... Anyway, I'm sorry to see JB's Correspondenceship so brief. However, as mentionedpreviously inthis threadalso means he no longer has to be restraint, polite, or diplomatic. Heck, he probably doesn't even have to shave and shower any more.

Brisc, I'm honored you'd mention me as one of JB's possible successors.

However, I've about had it with this game and the organizations behind it.

I've been mentioned as a possible successor to Vertexon as well, but have declined to submit my name there, and my reasons are stated in the nominations thread there.

Phenix, Fodderor Hakai areall fine possibilities. Hakai's extensive experience with cleaning out graul and rancor pens make hima particularly qualified candidate. Also, he's well supplied with riceballs to throw at devs.

Thanks, guys.

Basically it means that I get to do twice as much work, for not that much more money. But I'm happy to finally get rid of Assistant in my title. It's nice to be "the guy".

Fodder is defintely someone else that I would recommend for the job, so I'm very happy Fodder's applying. I hope that we can make sure that whoever gets this is someone we know - the last time, there were a few folks that applied that I'd never heard of, which is kinda scary considering I've read every one of the 40 some thousand posts on this board.
