Thread: What's your longest trip?
Since wooly hide is fantastic on Talus in Valcyn, I've walked everywhere on that planet.
I'm not kidding.
I haven't really logged the actual distances as a total, but I have basically started treking entire planets a few weeks ago. This is also a great method to gain XP and resources (of course). I have already completed Coreillia and currentlyworking on finishing my trek of Naboo.... I think Rori will be next then off to the harder planets.
I basically choose a starting city and then trek to every other city using non-linear paths so I can cover and see the most area possible. This does take quite some time (Coreillia took over a week) but is exciting. I usually stop briefly in each city to get missions in the direction of the next destination then take off again.
Scouting at it's best...

I'm sure that summed it up quite a bit
I spent most of that day in a state of chemically induced indifference.... so all I remember is doing it and staring at the scenery while avoiding red and yellow dots on my radar.
What's a little disappointing is walking to some of the more exteme areas and not finding anything at all. Granted, the walk is usaully pretty enjoyable, but it would be great to walk through some of these extreme areas and find 'hidden' spots to uncover. Unexplored caves, abandoned temples, etc. would all add a little spice to the planets.
This morning I trekked across Corellia to the NE ocean from Coronet, swam as far as I could just to check out the mountains around there to see if there was anything interesting. Sadly, not much of anything. Even cave entrances, ruins, etc. would have added some flair to an otherwise dull landscape.
I can understand the desire not to 'waste' time/energy putting things in place that few will ever find....but man would it be sweet if they did.
