I would swear after 12 minutes none of my wounds were healed but I could be wrong. My problem is finding a place to set up and then sitting in a camp and doing nothing to get surv exp. OK if I get my wounds healed. I am not using traps so I don't need to raise that. I am going for CH and BE so I need surv exp, is there any other way to get it? I am not looking forward to many hours of doing nothing in camp to get it.

Actually Doc, for BE and CH you don't need the Survival line at all....You need Exploration and Hunting for CH, and just Hunting for BE... So, good news for ya, not more camp grinding....
