You are, of course, right.

A Nabooian leathery hide with a 750 quality isn't worth much more than 3 credits. You got it off a gnort, or maybe a Fambaa. They're easy to find, low risk (Fambaas are low risk in a group - TMB with 9 members present last night took down a Raging Fambaa in 23 seconds - I timed it) and theres a lot of it out there.

A Yavinian leathery hide with a 750 quality is worth more than 3 credits. Transportation along to and from will cost you about 6k, not to mention the fact that you probably got your ass beat once or twice trying to get it.

It's all variable. And the prices also change for me if I get special requests. Special requests are always extra, because I have to go out of my way ot find what they want, not merely sell what I have available.

And, as always, the market also helps to dictate the cost.

Let's put it this way, i use alot of the scout components. If i see anything being sold for 3c per unit i'd only buy it if it was the very best quality. Normally i dont bother unless its 2c per unit anyway, people who charge more are simply being greedy. Lets take a good examine here, you havethe newbie spawns around theed with the likes of flesh eatting chuba and capper spineflaps. All of which take 1 shot to kill and give around 14units of a material. So are you saying that for a sake of 1 second of effect you deserve 70c or more? Get stuffed, this is exactly why i usually harvest it myself because you fools overcharge for it. 5c per unit? Pffft.. get serious.

you get the scouts to sell higher and the rangers who get hides sliughtly easier will just make more money..so please do try to oversell each other
