If you can cut it, take Mantigrue Reaper lairs on Endor. They give me 150-160 per /harvest, but then I'm a master Ranger, so it'll probably be more like 100-120 for you if you're a master Scout. These animals are very easy to kill in a group and do NOT have poison or disease attacks, unlike many of the other Mantigrues.

naboo: gualama, peko pekos

corellia: durni

yavin: mamiens, woolamander

I would try out Dantooine if you can solo huurtons... they're more prevalent than the bantha on Tatooine. They also have decent harvests and respawn very fast.

Endor is good too, but the critters that drop wooly are nasty.
