Thread: Survival XP :(
15 minutes per 800 exp 10k to lvl3, and 20k to level 4 = 562 minutes. or just under 10 hours hmmm now if only there was a way to macro the camp it self. I told how I got the other exp in another post, someone started about xp grinding. Check it out trap exp is really easy now.
I haven't tried the having a couple Artisan Friends come sample while in my camp yet...hmmm will have to try that. However I have found that by sitting in my camp and practicing crafting camps I an pulling in roughly 80XP per campsite crafted...and every 15 minutes breaking and resetting camp for the 800XP that gives...so I'm gaining the XP, but DANG it's a slow and BoRiNg process!
Nice good Info I'm almost there but do I break my trend and actually master something. Hmmmm
Its not really an option when u start but i decided that i wanted to be a BH after i had been a master Creature handler and commando with flame 4 for a few months. I was kinda rich from running missions on dath so i would ask around in town for someone to set me on fire, let my health bar go black and then use search to find a high level doctor. I would offer 5-10 k to follow me out side to a camp and heal me. they can do it in three minutes. Re make the camp every 1/4 of my life bar and i just made 2600 xp. Run back into town rinse and repeat, Kinda cheesy but grinding the honest way is really boring
Note that fishing also gives survival experience.
So make up a series of camps, grab a fishing pole and a copy of Volsted's Power Fishing Guide, and find a nice shallow spot along the shore or river to set up your camp with lots of fish and not much vegetation (its possible to find spots where your camp is rather soggy, and you can fish from your campfire). Set a timer for 20 minutes when you set up your camp and merrily fish. When the timer goes off finish your cast, disband the camp, set up the next, and go back to fishing.
And as the poor wookie who was losing all that bait that Volsted mentioned at the beginning of his Power Fishing Guide, a big hearty thanks for teaching me the tips and tricks to making this all work.
