Hello All,

I know that this question as been already asked probebly many times too, But when i read treads about the subjectI can never find the answer am looking for.

So there it is. What would be the best planet to make Scouting XP solo. I have almost pistol 4 and I have a blaster 58 125? or something close to that.

I have been doing Missions around Mos Espa on Tantoine but those mission are getting way too easy am doing them with my eye closed and I get no Challenge out of it.

If you have any suggestions that be Greately appriciated.

I'm partial to Talus also. Although it won't be a true paradise until you can camp in the no build zones, since on Talus they extend to 2k outside of town instead of 1. I especially recommend Paralope missions, decent resources, and not communal.

Don't forget to watch out for pirates on Talus though.

Cayas,

You're right - been asked a lot. But that's okay.

Picka starter planet. I suggest Naboo because I live there. Take lots of low level missions, and harvest everything you can on the way to the mission and on the way back. Cut a swath of destruction across the Great Western Plain.

Keep doing that until you get more powerful and can take on greater prey.

And read my novice guide!

If you're on the big sand ball, find yourself some greater womp rats. Once you can take them look for squills. There is actually a squill cave where they spawn rather frequently. However I believe that they are mountain Squills and will kick your ass if you try to solo them. But you did say that you were looking for a challenge.

I just made ranger, but I have NEVER gotten any xp for sneaking past a mob while masked. I have treid running past, walking past, crawling past..Ihave even tried crawling up to and hanging around a group of mobs. I have tried these tacticson both red and yellow mobs. I have tried these tactics with my rifle equipped and unequipped. What do I need to do? I haven't gotten the patch yet, so I guess I will need to check things..but I have heard people talking about getting XP from sneaking past a creature. Also, I have never gotten crafting XP by making my scout toys..has anyone else, or do I need to send a ticket in to the CRS's?

Well everyone seems to say that scouting xp is by far the easiest to have, hum well i have trapping 4 and survive 4 for ages (and i m maxed in trap/survive xp) but i'm at hunt/explo 3 and it takes ages to gain xp ...

So how do you all gain those large amount of scout xp ? With maskcent i gain average 40xp per mob but well i don't see the point of running everywhere around red little dot to gain xp with harvest i gain wow 50xp on white mobs and 300 if i kill a fambala (but well killing a famballa take one hour lol) is there any other way to gain xp ? or some special secret imperial technique including monkey ?

I've maxed out my scouting exp so yea it's easy to get, just move on to some larger mobs and you will see the increase

move to Talus and maskscent past GSP,Bull torturs,Giant Vynoks, you will see what a difference it makes

Trust me the larger the mob the better the exp on average I am hunting for 600-4000 pistol exp

60-400 comat exp, and before maxed out I was getting 190-450 scouting exp, the only thing holding me back from master scout is the trap crap I always forget to toss traps at the mobs I'm hunting, kinda hard to get exp if you don't use the skill :L:

Cirth,

I wish us Imps had a secret monkey making way of making XP. But we don't.

It's all a factor of figuring out what you can kill the fastest that gives the most Scout XP and is most common. Gnorts and Nightspiders were my bread and butter coming up. Even as a low level Scout I could one shot or two shot them, and they gave OK XP.

You have to maximize your XP over time ratio. If you can find a big group, take down FAmbys. If you are in a little group, take down Bolles. If you are a long, Ikopi, Nightspiders and Gnorts are great.

There are two excellent ways to make Scout XP I know of:

1) Head to Restuss on Rori, and do laps around the outside of the city. Low level mobs there spawn in groups of six or more every 90 meters or so. You'll get between 50 and 90 scout xp per kill. Easy, fast, gives you a decent amount of resources to sell.

2) Head to Endor and apply maskscent, then run around the wilderness. Note that some red dots are NPCs and will ignore your maskscent. If you're game, you can also try to find fights between Endor residents and help out the winning side, and harvest the losing side, but just be careful - if the winning side is aggro, they'll be kicking YOU off their turf next.

Don't forget, when you take destroy missions take creature lair missions, and harvest /everything/ you kill. Getting 50xp each from the five kreetles you wiped out with /pointblankarea1 is better than getting 250xp from a huf dun you had to kite halfway across the planet.

Boycotting the GCW. I don't force you to PvE, don't force me to PvP!

I would second that. Lots and lots of creatures around the city. the city of Narmle also works.

I guess I did it the hard way I took missions to make cash, and stopped to kill everything on the way out to the mission lair and everything on the way back. I harvested every single creature, no matter what it was. I just couldn't stand hanging around the "newbie zone" of a city. Keep maskscent up at all times - you won't get much from it, but every little bit counts. I made it to Master in a reasonable amount of time, and had fun doing it. No "grind" involved.

And now I'm doing the same thing with Ranger. So far so good
