OK here is where your problem is. There is a limited distance to an animal for milking to contiue. Generaly if you get farther then 5m from them while milking it stops milks. The Fammba are tall animals, so from the get go, you are farther from them even if standing under them. This is because targetting is on the body of an animal, and a fammba's body is way up there. So when a creature begins to move while milking it, you have to stay with it and close to it. For all creature milking. Smaller one, you have some leeway on how far it can get, but the tall ones are already "far" away from you, so it tougher.


What works for me on Fammba, is stand right between their back legs, and stay with them when they move. Have you hand ready on the controls, be facing the same direction as it. If it starts to move, move with it, staying between its legs.

It appears that the system checks you and your distance to the creature three times, until you've finally collected the milk. If you're in the right place, close enough to the "milking center" of the creature, you'll get credit. The creature can move away from you and out of range, but if you get caught back up (looks like about 8 seconds between checks) you'll get credit for being close enough.
