I agree - I want camps to be useful at the lower levels, but buttkickingly awesome for Rangers.
I really, really, really want them to give me ANY excuse they can to go Ranger again.

Well, what did you expect? We're a novice profession, 90% of our stuff works, and we're not the flavor of the month. We've gotten a lot of changes through despite this, but the Devs have a lot of stuff on their plates, and we all know it.
I'm willing to wait for the publish 10 mini-publish, if it means we can get some camping changes added in.

As I'm sure you realize, the Scout may be a Novice profession but Ranger is not. We have invested a great many skill points, not to mention time, in the Frontiering line. This response from TH, more than any other, is vague and does not answer a thing.
I don't believe TH has ever played a Ranger, or knows how itfeels to have an entire line of an "elite" profession rendered useless. The modular camp proposal portion of The Outdoorsman has been in front of the developers for seemingly forever, with no response. You used to be a Ranger, and no what it took to get through that line, and that at one time they were of benefit. I would beseech you to push hard on camps from the Scout Community for all of us. It seems in retrospect, very nearsighted of them to do what they did to camps, as it affected not one but two professions, doing them harm.
TH always asks for suggestions from the community, as to how they should do this, or how they should do that, and we spent months coming up with the modular camp proposal, as well as all of the remaining Outdoorsman Proposal, only to be ignored. We have done what was asked of us, and done it repeatedly. Help us Delta-Wan....you truly are our only hope...........

Trust me - I'm pushing. It's my #1 priority.
And we aren't being ignored ... the modular camp idea is the one here that TH is talking about as having come from the community.
Honestly, I expect some major Ranger loving after SE comes out. But Calc and I will work hard to make sure that we do whatever we can for our communities now.
