Thread: Is scout blaster really still the best pistol at pistol specialist?
One other note, The FWG5 looks much cooler than the Scout Blaster. I can actually tell I'm carrying a gun.
I am pretty sure DH17 is a Carbine weapon and NOT a pistol.
I am using one and it gives me Carbine XP and is listed as a Carbine.
Mule are you saying a scout blaster is good for small game, but a bigger pistol is better for large game?
I disagree completly
the low action cost of the scout blaster makes it the premire large game weapon. I can do almost twice the number of special moves with a scout then with a fwg5 do to the losw action cost, then add in the scouts fast speed and its no contest, big game goes down easiest and quickest with a scout blaster.
/hugs his 1.9 67-144 scout blaster
a name you will all want to remember.
flans floobis.
bought a scout blaster yesterday.
holy cow. what a marvel.
To be honest - flans doesnt like to talk to me a whole lot about pricing and such - but if you can get him to give you a waypoint to his shop - just outside bestine on tatooine - you wont be let down.
BTW - bring your pocketbook - price are steep - however - high quality slice + high quality base product = worth it.
Specs that matter
Scout Blaster FF
dmg around 53 - 105 (holy crap!)
ham around 11/21/11
speed 2.2 !
67 -144 dmg and 1.9 speed????
unreal.
who and where please!
btw flans is on radiant.
Find a weaponsmith and make him your personal arms dealer. A lot of the stats I am seeing in this thread are incredibly sub-par.
As for better. The Power5 that I am using beats about 80% of the guns you guys are talking about, and since I know it wasn't sliced or experimented highly I know it can be better.
I'm at work right now, so I don't have the exact stats on me ofmy guns. Right now, I use both a Scout Blaster, and an FWG5, and swap them depending on the situation.
My Blaster is a bit faster, its specials are less HAM costly, and it has a better close range bonus.
However, my FWG5 has better maximum damage, and a much better long range penalty.
When I solo, I do tend to use the blaster more. However, if I'm grouped with rifle or carbine users, I pull out the FWG5, and also support with trap damage, because they tend to stay back farther.
