My Rodian toon on Chimaera is now at Scout 3-3-3-2. If I start teaching newer players skills now will that build up AP xp for when I'm going for master? Also, does it have to be scout skills I teach for the xp or can I teach some of my marksmen skills too?

teaching is teaching, the AP are the same and u can teach some marksman and use the points to get master Scout. But it is not simple to find players to train in. I hate wasting time running around in the spaceport shouting "training here, training this, trining that".

For some elite professions you will have enough time to play to collect the necessary 620 AP, but this is not the case of Scout. I really didn't care about my progresses as I just harvest, trapped and made campinigs for necessity as I usually stay in open ground. So I became Scout 4444 in 2-3 weeks, more quickly that I got Brawler 4444. Then I used all the AP collected to get Master Browler and the way to 620 AP was very long and frustrating.

You have to know, ther's a way to collect up to 1240 AP in 10 min, that's is teaching Marksman xxx1 for 300 combat point to a man who surrenders it after learn. He will spend some 18600 combat experience points. You can do it also with some Browler 1st level repeating till you have 620x2 AP that's 1240 or two profession ready to master. This is an escamoutage, but it works fine!

What to say? I prefer normal training but you need patience!

Thanks for that. I'm working on my Scout and I'm also Marksman 0-3-3-2. I figure if I spend a little time teaching now, especially while i'm in camp, it won't be such a bad grind later. Seem to be quite a few players about at the moment (myself included) looking for training so I might as well tap into it.

yea delta may be running out of ideas but i have some, heres one for ya, build 100k of wire mesh traps and tie down the rancors so the other new guy can go clean the rancor pits =)

Yeah, it is hard coming up with so many different kinds of intiations, so I think I'm going have to start reusing some of them. But I don't think that's too bad. It's fun to watch you guys run around all crazy like. Anyway, I want a hole out back. A big one. 10 feet by 10 feet by 6 feet. Get going. And make sure you leave the dirt in a big pile next to the hole.

I'm working on CH and might dabble with Ranger (I seem toenjoy torturing myself). And ditch digging, apparently.

Kind of disappointed, though. I mastered scout to get the +30 to mask scent to make stalking critters easier. Yet this afternoon my mask scent was getting broken left and right - once by a lone hermit spider.
