has anyone figured out the / (slash) commands for the "tug" options on the menu? If you had that, you could make a nice fishing macro that would let your toon fish while you... fed the cat/answered the phone/finally sent out those Christmas thank-you cards from last year... know what i mean?

I am not a scout and I can both fish and filet. Since I can't forage I had to buy my first jar of bait (just like I always do in real life!) I don't seem to have any difficulty catching the fish or anything. I seriously doubt that fishing in the game engine is affected by skill sets... (I am trying to see how many scout exp points I can collect before reaching a cap, because scout exp trades toFS experience better than surveying.)



I am an ex-UO player who remembers fishing fondly from that game, especially pulling up sea monsters (and killing them) and finding treasure maps to sunken ships...as well as lots of footwear. I think it would be a nice bonus to be able to pull up some more interesting stuff while fishing. How about some lockable containers with random loot inside? Has anyone tried to fish with a really crappy pole just to see what variety of stuff might be found?
