Thread: Camp Heal Modifier
I noticed that when I put up a Basic camp and a Multi-Person camp, I still get the same .65 heal modifier. Anyone else get this? Am I doing something wrong or not doing something at all? I thought that the better camps had better healing abilities. Can someone please explain this to me?

I know that when you check the status of the camp,it says the healmodifier is .65, the same as a basic. Maybe it's just a typo and there is actually a higher modifier. can anyone confirm this?
Not sure about a multi.
Scout,
The heal modifier does go up on the other camps. The improved is higher. My field bases give a .95 heal modifier. I'm not sure why the Multi doesn't go up - to be honest, it's been nearly a month since I last used one. ![]()

But what does the Modifier MEAN?? Does it mean you regen faster?? or does it mean a Doctor can heal you faster? or better?
Or does it just mean the camp gives you better heals every 6 minutes??
"Actually, the .65 means you regenerate HAM at 65% of the normal rate (I.e. somewhat slower)."
Just for reference, sitting in a med center gains you 100% regeneration.
Durik,
I don't think that's accurate.
I believe that it means that you gain it at a rate that is .65 faster than without the camp. Hospitals heal you back twice as fast (100%).

I tested it. I was sitting on the ground regenerating health, built a camp and my health regeneration slowed down, then I disbanded the camp and it sped up again. So.. The smaller camps are good for wound healing, not for injury healing.
I guess this is why the novice ranger camp is the first camp that mentions increased regeneration. Still seems silly they'd have a regeneration penalty, though.
Dur,
That's gotta be a bug. I'll bring it up with the Devs.

Ive noticed that the Multiperson Camp gives more XP in 10 minutes than the Basic, but my wounds heal at the same rate inside each camp. The Improved camp heals wounds quite a bit faster plus it gives more survival XP.
