I can't believe I hadn't thought of this before, but the Improved camp takes just as much skill as the basic camp to put up, so if you get a master scout to sell you some of them, you can make more XP, faster. Enjoy!

Yeah, I gave a couple of Improved Camp kits to a guy with Survival III, so at least I know someone with that much skill can use it. I don't see why people with survival I and II can't do the same.

When I had survival I a PA friend of mine gave me some improved camps. Said I wasn't skill enough to use them. I'm at survival III now, I haven't tried using them now.

When you gave the camps to that person, did you actually see them use them?

No one knows the exact equations yet, I dont think.

Using basic camps is great if you're by yourself. Problem being they dont provide xp any faster if you've got more people in them. Multi-Camps do, and their max is somewhere near 800, but not always. Trying to figure out if the quality of the camp matters, etc...... at any rate... I've got a crafter friend who has a droid, and another friend whos got a bot during the day due to the owner not being home to play, so the 3 of us idlers jsut sit in multi camps and Im makin 800 per 10 minutes. Sometimes it goes to 840 and 880.. so I really dont know why that is. But its not time related. We did a 20min one and it still only gave 800. So... wierd.. hehe

There's a bug in the equation somewhere. The Devs have that one sorted out in the next update.

Plus you will be able to build camps in no build zones after the "update". This will make it much easier to get other people in your camps. It's about time!!

I'm not sure about the Improved Kit, but from what I noticed the Basic Kit gives 500xp per 15minutes and the Multiperson Kit gives 800xp per 30minutes. It seems the Basic Kit is the better deal. I'll try to get the Improved Kit and see how it works for me

I gave him 3 kits, I saw him use all three over the course of a couple of hours. We had a group of about 10 people, and he always got 1000 xp after only 5-10 minutes. I'm not trying to sell anything, but if you want to get xp faster, I'd try this, definitely.

I know from personal experience with the oftime tedium of camping that basic camps will never give you maximum XP in 15 minutes, unless you do a lot of healing.20-25 minutes, by yourself, no healing, and you'll max out any camp in the scouting tree (unless there is a temporal anomaly of some kind, which happens). So, 1000 points every 20-25 minutes, or 600 points every 20-25 minutes. Simple enough math to do.Like I said, 'm not selling anything here.

When is this "update" going live? Anyone know?

It's slated to go up on Test Center sometime early this week. Once the bugs are worked out, it will go live on the line servers later.

There's really no way to know this until the results from Test Center get announced by the Devs. I assume that next week we'll have it online.

Well, I made Surv4 yesterday afternoon with the method mentioned in my above post.

I intermittently had a 4th person, and we were intermittently from 0 to 100% participating in activities during the camp period.

Some of them we were all full-bore activity-ing. Those times we were able to stop the camp in 5 minutes. Hope that info helps
