Thread: Scouting xp takes too long
Dam it does! I Barely get 50 after i harvest something, isn't there any way to speed this up im struggling to get to 5000 let alone 15000!
Is there a kinda macro i can put in so i simply stock up on the resources needed for bone armour, and it would do wonders for my scouting xp, how can u speed te process up omeone plz tell me the secret...

Best way is to go out with a Party on a big Hunt and harvest the animals you kill. I was getting about 400xp for each animal. You can also get your survival XP quite easily by setting up a camp after a battle so people can recover.

Banthas are a pretty easy kill and give 200-300 xp per.
where can I find Banthas? which planet?

Quit shooting durni and butterflies and find some real game to kill and harvest. Master scout's hardest xp is camping, not scouting. And if you hunt in a group, both go very quickly.
Macros take forever, compared to doing in real time, especially camping (51 minutes a camp til it autodisbands).
Seriously, unless you are doing this for a holo, I would try something else more to your liking. Oh wait, 5 credits says you want to be a BH. Am I correct?

here's how u get TONS of scouting xp:
Join a large group => Travel to Dathomir => Kill Enraged Bull Rancors => Harvest resources=> Watch scout xp jump up by 1780xp per harvest => say "Thx Joba!"

You, I earned just under 25k scouting xp by just bombing around dathomir on a swoop while masked scented. If your mask is broken, get off the bike and remask. If your targetted run away, just be aware that a flying creature can just about match the speed of your bike if it really wants to.
use maskscent ALL THE TIME. every single macro i have starts with /maskscent.
if you combine this with a speeder and go somewhere like yavin 4 (the critters wont break the mask so easy but still give decent xp) put mask scent on, jump on the speeder and drive through as many red dots as you can find, you can max out your scout xp in an hour. i give this a month before the devs nerf it!
trapping can be done even quicker, i went from novice scout to trapping 4 in 3 hours. find an area were you can get to the critters, but they cant get to you - the temple of the blueleaf cluster on yavin 4 is perfect. stand on the ledge and throw as many traps as you can at the critters below. you need a good supply of traps (hundreds) even with a good percentage failing youll still be swimming in xp.
and then theres survival... um. good luck.
