Gang,

The Devs has asked for us to provide them with any feedback from our communities on the current patch that's being tested - the one with all of the major changes.

So what do you guys think? Good stuff? Bad stuff? Indifferent?

Other than the happy happy's Hakai said - nothing in there applies to us other than the reduced spawn times (if we are "camping") and the krayt explosion.

Noobs get a free speeder - woohoo. Shorter wait time - semi woooo hooo, I have a starship.

    Poop, nothing for us.

The patch seems to be unstable! I have only been playing about 3 - 4 weeks and before the most recent patch I never had any problems. Now it seems I am going to have a crash at least once everytime I am on. I had the system crash twice two nights ago in the span of about an hour while I was in the squill cave. That is not the best place to crash.

This patch hasn't gone live yet.

The reason they are decreasing the times is to suck some cash out of the economy. Who takes shuttles from planet to planet anymore? Most people are in their fighters or on MP ships.

5 min wait for the shuttle? I swoop it from town (2.5 mins). Probably 80% of the time I fighter in and swoop to the final point anyhow.

Swoops cost maintenance to operate so money is still leaving the economy. Combat rebalace will probably lower the mission pay-outs so that is in essence would make money scarce. SO why not try and introduce more of a Star Wars atmosphere? In my opinion, it couldn't hurt

They need to do 1 of the following things for make this thing more StarWarsy:

    1. Implement a contraband scan to everyone not grouped with a Smuggler before they shuttle OR

    2. Make waiting time longer (10 minutes)to make people rely on JTLS.

IF they really wanted to get money out of the economy, they would have made swoops depend on Fuel that you can only get from fueling stations.
