My fellow Scouts,
For those of you on the Bloodfin server, you are all cordially invited to a wedding ceremony, uniting
Imperial Master Scout and Scout Correspondent Brisc Rubal
with
Imperial Pistoleer and Master Entertainer Daria Obi
on
SATURDAY, AUGUST 9TH at 9:00 PM EASTERN TIME
The wedding will be held at the Tarkin Memorial Brigade Headquarters, located north of Theed, Naboo at location -6219 6107. Toprogram this into your datapad, type /waypoint -62196107in-game.
General Havelock Vetinari of the Tarkin Memorial Brigade will be presiding over the ceremony, with a post-nuptial receptionbeing heldinside theTMB PA afterwards. Music will be provided by Dan'Zig and Trewyn.
In honor of my pending wedding, following the ceremony I will be providing trainingfree of chargeto any and all Scouts who attend. I can also train Ranger and Marksman skills. No one will be turned away.

All,
Imperial Intelligence has discovered a plot to crash the wedding with a squad of 25-30 rebel troops.
As a result, our defenses have been beefed up. In addition none of our membership will be Overt on the wedding day, in order to ensure that the party is not disrupted.
We will, however, lead a team of Imperials on a raid to Moenia following the ceremony. We cordially invite the Rebels to defend the city from our attack.

Oh? A raid...? I may just go to this wedding yet. Could have some good XP when it's done. I wasn't going to go unless I measured up my scout skill, but now that you say this, hm. I'll be there. Just got to get there and go overt, that should be ...fun. heh

We're registered in all of the finest shops around Naboo.
Those who wish to bring gifts - we are in dire need of furniture. We just took out a mortage on our first Medium Naboo House, and we need to furnish it! So any furniture would be appreciated.
Gifts aren't required though. And we are actually going to be handing out some door prizes as well.
Get there early and you'll have a shot at a Laser Rifle, a Small Corellian house and other prizes. We're going to have fireworks and as much Jawa Beer as you can drink.

If I'm online, I'll be sure to stop by and wish you a happily ever after. I'm offically a netrual, but if the rebels want to jump you on such a joyous day, I'll be more than happy to join your raid afterword. By the way, are you registered anywhere? It would look bad to show up without a gift for the happy couple.
Just a reminder about tomorrow and another advertisement.
The ceremony is being held at the Tarkin Memorial Brigade PA Hall, waypoint is -6219 6107, 2k north of Theed, Naboo.
We anticipate anywhere from 100 to 500 guests.
The pre-ceremony will include Cake and Beer provided through General Havelock Vetinari's Vendor, located in the large house next to the PA Hall at minimal cost (1 credit each).
We will be giving away door prizes if you can win Brisc's "Guess what number I'm thinking now" contest. The prizes include:
Dark Jedi loot
A small House
A laser rifle
An advanced Scout pistol
Various skill enhancements
Neutron pixie spice
10,000 credits
Following the ceremony there will be a fireworks display, followed by a PvP trip for the Imperials to Moenia (or we can just kill the Rebs waiting to ambush the Bridal party - we expect a small army!)
We ask that all of the PvP combat wait until after the ceremony, which should last approximately 10 minutes.
We currently plan to hold the event on the steps of the guildhall, but if crowd control and Rebel griefing becomes a problem, we will move the festivites into the PA Hall, and where admission will be by invitation.
We will have a significant amount of security present, in order to ensure that the Rebels remain in check until the ceremony is over. Our Troops have been ordered to NOT FIRE UNLESS FIRED UPON, even if the Rebels are overt.
All Imperials and Rebels are welcome to attend, and we ask that you all please hold your testosterone in check until the ceremony is over. Then the gloves can come off.
We hope to see all of you at his event, which is already the talk of the Bloodfin Server. Don't miss the social event of the century!
