Thread: Odd Camping Bug......Or Not?
It seems that there is a possible camp bug. I know that camps will heal wounds at about 10 points every 6ish minutes. Now, since the update, it seems that I get 5 points of wounds healed after every 3ish minutes. Is this an intended change? i am a Novice Ranger now so is this common in Ranger camps? I am using the High Quality Camp Kit as my means of healing and resting.
Iknow this is more of a Ranger question, but Ifeel more at home on the Scout boards.

I haven't noticed this myself, but its entirely possible that they may have tweaked the totals. This one doesn't seem to have done much - actually it's a benefit, because you don't need to wait the extra 3 minutes.

if you look at the status of your camp it has a healing factor, as you can create more advanced camps that rate expotentialy increases.
basic camp= .21-.32
multiperson camp= .33-.69
advanced camp=.70-1.04
not sure about camps after that and depending on if you expierment on your canps you can increase these considerably.
so yes as you become more advanced in your skills your camps improve all around. I't a perk and some times camps get better healing rates the hospitals. A ranger friend of mine creates advanced tech camps and those things are awsome not only is the healing rate stupid high but you have crafting stations built into the camp...

I am using a High Quality Camp Kit which has a heal modifier of .85. Maybe I missed something on the other camps as the modifier increased, but I don't remember the healing rate of wounds increasing. That has always been a semi-flat rate of 10 points every 6ish minutes. Now, post update, it seems to have changed to 5 points every 3ish minutes, less at times. It seems that the heal rate was just divied by 2 for when you get a heal. Twice as fast for half as much. The health/action/mind healed should be the same, theoretically, as before the update over time. Now, not only has the time interval been tweaked for when you get the heal, but it seems that the rate at which you get it has been increased slightly.
I don't know if this was intentional or not, but I kind of like it. I am not sure if this is a result of using better camps AND having a higher camp skill combined or if it is something else. I just wanted to see what everyone else is getting. I have never heard of this before so I was very much in doubt if it was a Ranger benefit. Hopefully it will remain. Although I am getting less wilderness XP due to healing faster and disbanding my camps sooner. ![]()
No offence but the Dev's do read the boards contrary to popular belief, all this may have done is brought to thier attention something else that needs to be modified

And this is a bad thing, how? I've noticed it also, kinda like it and hope it stays, but if you maintain your camp for the aloted 30 min you still get max exp for it.

I'm getting about roughly the same, depending on the expiermentation of my camp.
Both Basic and Multiperson camps now give .65 bonus to healing. I'm almost certain that this only applies to damage, not wounds. Wounds will still heal in camps, but the rate is same in any camp I've been in (including MSE's). It seems to be exactly 1/2 the rate at which wounds will heal by sitting in a Medical Center.
Basic camps require (I think) 15 minutes of set-up time in order to get the max xp from them when you disband (in a camp with no visitors but yourself). The max xp I have seen under all circumstances from a Basic Camp was 350 xp (as recent as yesterday).
I am now using Multiperson camps. These seem to require 30 minutes of setup time to return the max xp (again with no other visitors). And the max xp I have seen from one of these is 621 points. I have tested this by leaving them up for anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour. 621 points is the max I have ever seen. At some point, the camp just disappears out from under you (may be linked to activity within the camp. I was afk for a long period each time it happened). I haven't checked for the time limit on this, but I know it happens.
All of the above figures were tested with zero battle fatigue, except the wound healing rate (which was tested separately, and with 30 to 60 BF). I've seen some posts stating that Basic camp xp was maxed at 360, and multiperson at 720. If that was ever true, it doesn't seem to be now.

Everytime they make a change, it seems to impact the XP totals for those camps. They used to be double what they are now.
Not a huge concern, but good work on figuring this out.

Just more stealth changes, Delta. What, do they think we are going to remain clueless and never figure out what they've done? It amazes me that they can't figure out that players get more angry at stealth nerfs than they would have been had the dev's just been up front with them. Hell, we might even surprise them and actually understand and support the changes. Stranger things have happened ![]()
Incidentally, I can now confirm that remaining active and at the keyboard while in camps does nothing to extend their life. Neither does exiting and re-entering the camp. Timer begins when the camp is set and nothing alters it's life span. I haven't caught it exactly on my stopwatch, but camp life seems to be between 50 and 60 minutes for both Basic and MP camps.
