Thread: Cannot harvest **Please** Help?

I was hunting on Lok this morning when all of a sudden after a little while of nothing out of the ordinary, I stopped being able to harvest completely. There was no choice in the radial menu for it, and my /harvest meat macro wasn't working. It was behaving as if I didn't have scout at all.
I looked through this forum and the Scout forum and didn't see any threads that seemed to deal with this. I tried to do a ticket in game, but my knowledge base search decided to lock up entirely.
Anyone have any help?

This happened to me a couple of times while doing mission on dant. On some lairs neither me nor anyone else could harvest, but most other lairs there was no problem at all. I dont really know what caused this or if this is the same problem you had, we just moved on to other lairs when we this happened

Sometimes get this when a resource is in shift.
This morning I was plinking cupa to stock up on meat, eek, no harvest option. Nothing. Nearby there was a kreetle lair, splattered a few of those, no probs harvesting, different type of meat.
About an hour later, back at the cupa spawn, harvesting happily. New meat in shift.

First try logging off and coming back in. It could just be stuck. Second you might have been caught in a resource shift. It usually goes away after a few minutes

This also occurs sometimes if the creature stops combat, retreats or if you are tanking it for med xp for example.

Hmm ... maybe I'm getting bugged on this via being a doctor, cuz I noticed earlier this morning that it seemed like I was being aggroed by lairs themselves when there were no creatures out at all buta member of my party was shooting it who had bacta infusion on from me.
Is there a way for this to be flagged for the attention of the Ranger or Doctor correspondents? Or do I just PM them - I've never had something like this happen before lol

Check, check, and check- and no to all. Think I answered that right 
I think I'm beginning to figure this out, and I think it has to do with getting bugged by using Doctor abilities, but I have no idea how. Someone else in my earlier group had experienced this problem and it just now occurred to my memory that he's also a Doctor as I am. I think I need to send a PM to the Ranger/Scout/Doctor correspondents.

This is a known bug (well it's been posted about in Vorpaks' Scout Bugs thread). You'll also notice that if you try to trap them you get the message "You can only trap creatures!" as if they are NPCs.
This isn't linked to creatures from a specific lair either. What I've found is that I won't be able to harvest/trap ANYTHING for a period of time, so you can't just 'move onto the next mission'. Even logging in and out doesn't seem to help

I read that thread & this isn't addressed by anything on there really. I'm going to try PMing the correspondents for Ranger, Scout and Doctor.

And post here or in your ranger thread about whats causing it. That way we can duplicate the problem and get it fixed.

Ok - an initial problem that I had before this sudden stop to having harvesting even show up on the radial menu seems to be a matter of hate generated by bacta infusion.
About the sudden stopping of harvesting - I don't know how to connect the two. It was like suddenly the game stopped registering that I have scout at all because harvest was no longer on the radial menu.

You dont need to send me a PM man, i mean you only initially posted this thread around 5 hours ago.I got a pm from you after 3 hours of this post, just give me a chance to see it mate, despite what some might think im not on the forums 24hrs a day. I read many many posts and get around to addressing lotsbut i do have work, ido have a girlfriend and i do have activities outside ofgameplaying hehe, they all come first.
Basically yeah i see it, yes ill respond once i get back from work.
