One of my main problems, at least since the evil damage nerf, is the concept of me being a sniper. Thanks to the handy radar, it is effectivaly impossible to act as such, or even do something as simple as an ambush. As for taking cover, actually doing so during a PvP battle brings up 2 thoughts, how and why. Anyway, taking both of those into consideration, perhaps it would be benificial to make it so a rifleman who goes under cover drops off of the radar. In this manner, we would be able to set up ambushes for invaders, or hold key passes and such. Furthermore it would make shots that can only be done from under cover useful, provided that such shots also removed the big red lazer streak which would give away our loc. Beyond that, it would make our countersniping skills useful. And it would give a rifleman a reason to try to use the heavy rifles during PvP as well!

And it would help keep the pistoleers and bounty hunters on their toes =)
