Just read a post where someone was asking what Suprise shot does and started thinking........"hmmmm, what about Flurry shot? Strafe shot? Sniper shot? Headshot and Mindshot are pretty self-explanatory, but could someone be willing to post a list of what each special is and how it affects targets? Even if it's simple and crude like......"Headshot2 is a shot to the target's head which inflicts mind damage". Think that would be of great help to all of us riflemen still scrambling up the tree to decide which skills would be better obtained than others. Don't know about anyone else, but it does still take a while to rack up 250,000 points even when you do find a sweet spot to milk for xp. Would hate to spend 250k points for one skill only to discover the next box over for the same xp cost would haveimproved my game significantly more than what I wound up with.

Here's what I know about the shots I use.. I'm not very high up in the Rifleman tree, so some of this info is probably incorrect. Also this only includes the shots I regularly use. Please anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and add as necessary.

<Headshot Series >

Headshot1 - Does damage directly to target'sMind Pool.1.5xwep base damage

Headshot2 - Does damage directly to target's Mind Pool. 2.5x wep base damage

Headshot3 - Does damage directly to target's Mind Pool. 3.0xwep base damage

I believe the Headshot series goes up in HAM cost regardless of the M cost of the weapon you are using, so I think there's a multiplier on it.. not sure about this. Also I've been told by many that Headshot3 is not really worth as much because it takes far more HAM than Headshot2 yet does comparably little extra damage.

< Mindshot Series >

Mindshot1 - Applies a DoT attack to target's Mind Pool. Does 1x base damage of SHOT THAT APPLIEDIT every (6?) seconds.

Mindsho2 - Applies a DoT attack to target's Mind Pool. Does 2x base damage of SHOT THAT APPLIIED IT every (6?) seconds.

Mindshots do NO damage on impact and usually hit Body or Leg. This has no effect however as they always bleed mind. Also, Mindshot 1 and 2 can be stacked, and if you hit an enemy with a weak Mindshot, you can apply the Mindshot again in hopes of getting a higher bleed rate. Also, Mind Bleeding can now be stopped with the medic skill /firstaid, just like normal bleeds.

< Other(all I've used) >

Flurry Shot1 - Dizzies the target. If the target changes posture, they have a chance to fall down. Rifleman can try and apply a hacky ass knockdown by first dizzying a target with Flurry Shot1, then forcing them to kneeling with Suppression Fire and hoping they fall over when they stand up

Suppression Fire - Tries to force a target down one posture (standing to kneeling, kneeling to prone). Fairly successful in PvE, fire it to freeze a mob for 6-10 seconds or so and get some distance. Also effective in PvP, but only in combination with Flurry Shot1 or when trying to kite a Melee type.

Strafe Shot1 - You get this at Novice Rifleman (I think). It does 2x the base damage of the weapon and hits a random pool (H, A, or M)

I'm probably wrong on a lot of these, as these only reflect my personal experience. Figured I'd give you something though

Why the hell would you want documentation for something that takes weeks and months of time to pursue??
