I don't understand the question. You were doing 700 damage yesterday when the AP was Light. Now you are doing the same damage even though you are NOT Heavy? Um. . . exactly. If this is just a type-o, repost. Did your AP automatically shift to Heavy on your pre-existing gun? Maybe it shifted in name only, and only the new T21's will truly have Heavy AP?

Make sure your looking above the mbos head, not your combat screen.

This would make sense since the old T21s have the high max damage.

What Aldeon said.

The combat spam in your chat window only shows base hit value, it doesn't show your actual damage after armor is taken into effect (I don't know why they did this -- we should ask them to show the real value).

The number that floats off of your target after you hit it should be the actual value.

The best test would be to just duel someone and actually see how much health they lose.

Are you guys sure about this? I mean no disrespect..., but I always thought that combat window spam was the ADJUSTED damage (how much HAM the target really loses). Because it lower it would make more sense considering the target's armor/resistances would make total damage lower than your base damage (the numbers floating in the air)

Nope, I was shooing a dark jedi for 1000 damage in the combat window, 10 floating above his head, 10 coming from his ham bar.

Wow. So, umm I've been backwards this whole time. Whats the point of of watching the combat window? Might aswell close it and have more screen space.

I only use it to find out if all my pets are attacking, and who's attacking me, as well as which pet is taking damage. The only HAM bars I bother looking at are my own, and my pets'.

lol, yeah that was a big typo, meant to say that it was light AP and now its Heavy AP. Looked at the numbers over there heads, and they were different then the numbers in the combat window. What are the multipliers for damage when you use a weapon with Heavy AP? i thought i read it was like 2x vs light armor or something like that, but doesn't seem to be hitting for that much. Most likely cause im completely off on this, can someone tell me what it is?

I really don't see why they don't have: "You use expert headshot on the Devs you hit for 1000 (1750) damage."

This would stop a lot of confusion.

Seflyn, I like that () idea, it would make sense and give the combat window more usefulness...

Artamis, for each level over the target AR, you get 25% bonus, for each level under you get 50% penalty. (ie: your ar2 weapon will do 1.25x.1.25=156% dmg on an AR0 enemy)
